How to make candied orange peel
Peel the orange so it does not take much of the white part (or will be sour), cut the peel into strips and set aside.
Quickly blanch the peel and then add sugar. Cook for 5-10 minutes or until lightly getting transparent.
Remove the shells with the aid of forceps and neck on a tracing paper sheet, let cool to crystallize. (if you prefer sprinkle granulated sugar while still warm).
Serve as an accompaniment to puddings, snacks or use to decorate your cakes and desserts.
